A REGENERATION project in a Basingstoke suburb has been announced as one of the top five most affordable housing developments in the country.
The Sentinel Housing Association project cost £34million and has transformed the Popley Islands Estate into a 242-home estate with new shops, leisure and recreational facilities.
Judges from Inside Housing picked out projects that “best embodied what makes fantastic regeneration, specialist, small, large and sustainable developments.”
