A PUB in Highclere has applied to change its premises licence.
Cirrus Inns Limited, which owns The Yew Tree Inn, in Andover Road, Highclere, has submitted a variation application to the premises licence to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
The company is seeking permission to remove a condition for food and alcohol not to be consumed in the garden or grounds after 10pm.
If the plan is approved, the pub will be allowed to serve alcohol and food for consumption in the garden in line with its late-night premises licence.
The current premises licence allows late night refreshments to be served until midnight, Monday to Thursday, and until 1am, on Fridays and Saturdays.
A public consultation on the proposed change will end on July 8.
