TWO men from London were arrested on suspicion of burglary, after a gang was seen acting suspiciously outside the Sony building in Basingstoke.
The two men, a 22-year-old and a 25-year-old, were arrested outside the building in Jays Close, Viables, at 12.25am on Friday, September 12. They have been released on bail until December 11.
They are thought to have been part of a larger group of black men, aged in their early to mid twenties, who were seen outside the building. Police said they were all wearing black clothing.
The South East Regional Organised Crime Unit is now investigating.
Detective Inspector Jenny Olden said: “The investigation is at an early stage and I am looking to speak to anyone who may have seen a group of men acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident.”
Anyone with information can contact Det Insp Olden on 101.
