GIN lovers will now be able to take part in a series of workshops and masterclasses at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery at Laverstoke Mill.

As previously reported by The Gazette, Bombay Sapphire welcomed its first guests into their multi-million pound distillery on October 1.

And now guests visiting the visitor centre will be able to take part in an interactive gin workshop where they will learn how to make the perfect Bombay Sapphire gin and tonic.

In addition, visitors will also be able to participate in a cocktail masterclass which will include a series of helpful hints and tips allowing people to create their perfect cocktail at home.

Whilst demonstrating how to use key cocktail equipment, discussing must-have ingredients and talking through step-by-step foolproof methods, the knowledgeable “gin experts” will also ensure that guests have the opportunity to sample the finished product.

All workshops and masterclasses include the “self-discovery experience”, giving guests the chance to explore the beautiful grounds at Laverstoke Mill armed with an interactive map.

Visitors will learn how the iconic gin is created through the unique vapour distillation process and will be able to learn more about the 10 botanicals that make up the gin.

To complete the experience, visitors can then visit The Mill Bar where they will be able to enjoy a complimentary Bombay Sapphire cocktail next to the River Test.

The gin workshop is priced at £25 per adult and £35 per adult for the cocktail masterclass. The price of all workshops and masterclasses includes the cost of the self-discovery experience.

Workshops can be booked in advance by visiting distillery.bombaysapphire.com or by calling 01256 890090.
