CHIDLREN from a Basingstoke nursery dressed in pink to raise money for a national charity.
Youngsters at Kiddi Caru, in Beggarwood, joined staff to mark Wear It Pink day, which is an annual fundraiser for Breast Cancer Campaign.
The children also enjoyed creating pink artwork, decorating biscuits and cupcakes with pink icing and even eating pink food.
In fact, everything they did throughout the day had a pink theme.
Suzanne Chilvers, nursery manager, said: “The children and staff had a fantastic time on the day. The children were particularly amazed to find that even some of their food at mealtimes had turned pink.
"As well as dressing up and doing lots of fun activities the children also learned a little bit about what Wear It Pink day is all about, and they were quite excited about the fact that they were helping to raise funds for this great cause.”
