AN ELDERLY woman had to be freed from her car after it crashed into parked vehicles and landed on its side.
The crash took place on the B3400 at Worting, near the St Thomas of Canterbury church, at around 10.30am this morning.
Firefighters from Basingstoke fire station cut away part of the woman’s vehicle so that she could be seen by paramedics. She was lifted out on a spinal board.
The road was closed for around 90 minutes while this took place.
A total of eight firefighters in three appliances were on the scene.
