A TAXI passenger assaulted a driver in Basingstoke before making off with his cash.
The robbery took place in Abbey Road, Popley, between 4.50am and 5am on Saturday, December 13.
Police said the taxi driver was bruised after the assault.
The suspect is described as black, aged in his early 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, of heavy build and was clean shaven.
He wore a dark hooded top, white cotton tracksuit bottoms and black gloves.
