New flats planned for Basingstoke town centre
EIGHT new flats look set to be built in the town centre after Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council gave the go-ahead to the scheme.
The Berkshire Group applied for planning permission to convert a former office in Market Place into two studio flats, four one-bedroom flats and two two-bedroom flats.
Planning officers at the borough council approved the scheme on July 2.
