Empty Basingstoke office set to be transformed into day centre
AN empty Basingstoke office is set to be transformed into a day centre for people with disabilities after planning officers at the council granted permission for the scheme.
Lakshmi Leela applied to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for permission to change the use of the bottom of Rooksdown House, in Southern Road, into a day centre which will also provide physiotherapy services.
Permission for the scheme was granted on July 31.
