AN investigation has been launched after iPads were stolen from a Popley school.
Police have launched an investigation after 32 iPads were stolen from a secure locker at Merton Junior School, in Romsey Close. The incident was reported this morning.
It is thought the offenders gained entry by forcing open a window before stealing the iPads.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “We’re investigating a burglary at the school which was reported to us shortly after 7am this morning – currently we don’t have a time period over which the burglary occurred apart from the end time of it being discovered this morning.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact us on 101, quoting 44150295724, or call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.”
