YOUNG people across Basingstoke can get free advice at a drop-in career clinic tomorrow.

Expert tutors from Enham Trust’s Skills2Achieve learning centre will be at Tempus Business Centre, in Kingsclere Road, between 10am and 3pm tomorrow to offer face-to-face advice about the range of alternatives for education, jobs or training.

The Skills2Achieve is a unique programme of support for disadvantaged young job seekers which is designed to help young people aged between 16 and 19 currently not in education, employment or training, as well as disabled people up to 25 years old, to find work, apprenticeships or full-time education.

Pam Hall, head of employment and skills at Enham Trust, said: “It’s stressful and things look bad when you don’t get the grades you wanted, but there are lots of options out there to do what you enjoy, learn new skills, and follow careers you might never have considered.

“We’re urging anyone who is uncertain about where to turn next to come and speak with our tutors. They’ve got lots of experience in helping young people find the path that suits them best – come and give it a go.”
