TWO men broke into a parked works vehicle and stole a chainsaw from a site in Ramsdell, Tadley.

The vehicle was parked in a field in the village when the thieves were seen running away from the vehicle across a field, before entering a dark coloured Volkswagen Passatt estate.

Police are appealing to any witnesses who may have seen the incident which took place at approximately 3.45pm on April 18.

PCSO Nathaniel Johnson said: “I would like to ask that if you see any vehicles acting suspiciously in your area then to call 101 as soon as possible and provide as much detail as you can.

“Please ensure you lock your vehicles and remove all valuable items when leaving them unattended even for a short period of time.”
