POLICE have released new images in the hunt for a missing woman from Hook.
As reported earlier this morning by The Gazette concerns are growing for the safety of 75-year-old Margaret Lee who suffers from Alzheimer’s.
Mrs Lee was last seen in Nursery Close, Hook at 5.30pm on Monday, June 27, when she went for a walk but did not return home.
Officers have been informed by the 75-year-olds family that she regularly goes on walks, but normally returns within 20 minutes.
She has been described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, having white hair in a bob, wearing beige-coloured trousers and a pale blue shirt and carrying a handbag.
Specialist teams are involved in searching Hook and the surrounding area and will continue to do so today.
Inspector Richard Lane said: “We would like to thank all those people who have shared our appeal so far.
“Unfortunately Margaret is still missing and we are concerned that she has been out on her own for a significant period of time. We would urge residents in the Hook area to be vigilant and if you see a woman matching Margaret’s description, call 101 as soon as you can.”
Anyone who sees Margaret Lee is asked to call 101 quoting 44160239731.
