Hartley Wintney skipper Hugo Hammond has been banned for two matches by the Southern Premier League, writes Mike Vimpany.
The ban follows a Level 2 offence (captain failing to control his team) in the Division 2 match against Waterlooville on June 10.
He missed Hartley Wintney's rain-affected 46-run win over Langley Manor and will also sit out the Hook and Newnham Basics II derby next Saturday.
Hartley Wintney have also been docked another two points by the SPL under disciplinary procedures introduced this season.
They had a point deducted previously when Anthony Parson was suspended for one match after the Waterlooville game.
Hartley enjoyed a comfortable win over Langley Manor, with Jamie Teale (4-19), Roy Cockram (3-8) and Finn Norris (3-39) combining to bowl the visitors out for 102.
James Mulvey (46), Cockram (32) and skipper Jon Kerr (24) top scored for Hartley, whose original 162-8 was trimmed to a Manor target score of 148 off 40 overs.
