GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist Albert Lee will be performing at The Haymarket on Wednesday, June 26.

Recognised as one of the most esteemed guitarists in music history, Lee has worked with the likes of Eric Clapton, The Everly Brothers, The Crickets and Emmylou Harris throughout a career spanning 60 years.

The British-born country-rock artist first started in the burgeoning rock 'n' roll scene of 60s London where he would swap bands with the likes of Jimmy Page and Chris Farlowe. After moving to the US, he rapidly gained a name as one of the fastest guitarists around.

Characterised by his blend of rock ’n’ roll and country ballads, and his signature hit Country Boy, Albert Lee has been described as 'the guitarist's guitarist.'

Tickets, priced at £29 including a £4 booking fee, are available from the Anvil Arts box office or at anvilarts.org.uk/whats-on/event/albert-lee.
