A 52ft high water tower set to be converted into a five-storey home with roof terrace will go under the hammer in Hampshire next month.
Would-be property developers could snap up their own Grand Designs-style project when the disused tower goes up for auction at a guide price of £45,000.
The water tower, in North Sydmonton on the outskirts of Newbury, is listed with consent for conversion to a three bedroom home with roof terrace and two undercroft parking spaces.

The proposed accommodation includes a ground floor entrance hallway with bedrooms on the first and second floor, while the third floor could be used as either a third bedroom or living room. The fourth floor would be a conversion of the existing water tank into a kitchen / living area with access to a roof terrace.
Savills auctioneer Steven Cane said: “Every now and again we get a water tower come to auction and historically there’s been a good level of demand for these quirky lots.
"It's an excellent opportunity for investors or individuals seeking a unique project."
The auction takes place on April 16.
