AEROBILITY, a charity which enables individuals with disabilities to experience flight, is seeking new trustees to help direct its future.

Currently, the charity is looking for both a trustee and a trustee secretary, critical roles aimed at defining Aerobility’s 10-year trajectory.

The charity, renowned for offering disabled individuals a chance to fly with specially modified light aircraft and equipment, operates from Blackbushe. It also has operations at Tatenhill in the Midlands and temporary detachments at several other UK airfields, as part of its ongoing national outreach.

Volunteering plays a crucial role in Aerobility’s functions, with the trustee secretary role offering a unique chance to contribute actively to an inspiring cause and organisational operations. While both roles are voluntary, they typically last three years and may be extended.

Aerobility’s CEO Mike Miller-Smith said: "By becoming a trustee, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a world where anyone with any disability can fly. If you share our commitment to changing lives through flight and have the skills and experience to contribute to our mission, we encourage you to apply and become a part of Aerobility’s journey."
