A HAMPSHIRE man has been banned from driving after he failed to provide a specimen for analysis.

Edward Knox, on December 17, 2023, in Basingstoke, when suspected of having driven a vehicle failed without reasonable excuse to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.

The 63-year-old pleaded guilty during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on February 6, and on March 20, at the same court, he was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

Knox, of Aldershot, must also complete 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114 must also be paid.
