A TEENAGE boy suffered injuries and had his bike stolen following a report of an assault in Aldershot.

The 15-year-old boy sustained an injury to his jaw after being assaulted in Manor Park between 4.10pm and 4.20pm on Wednesday, April 17. He was taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary have launched an investigation into the assault, but believe 'it was an isolated incident and there is no wider threat to the public'.

A spokesperson added: "It is believed there were a number of people in the park at the time and we are keen to hear from potential witnesses. 

"We also believe a man and two women helped the boy following the incident. Officers would like to hear from them to see if they have any information which can assist us.
