Woodsies has revealed its main stage acts for Glastonbury Festival 2024.

The line-up includes Jamie xx, James Blake, Sleaford Mods, Arlo Parks, The Vaccines, and 2024's Emerging Talent Competition winner JayaHadADream.

Established in 2023, Woodsies has swiftly become the hub for live music in the North West corner of the festival site.

A festival spokesperson shared: "Born in 2023, Woodsies is Glastonbury’s vibrant and verdant area in the North West corner of the site, a hub for live music, heart-warming fires and enchanting treetop adventures."

They went on to portray the eclectic range of music genres offered.

It continued: "This year, the main stage offers an energising line-up spanning indie rock and pop, Irish rap, punk, metal to chart music and plenty more to get you dancing with both new and well-established acts."

The festival insists that despite changing its name from the John Peel Stage in 2023 and subsequently from the New Bands Tent in 2004, to Woodsies, it will maintain "the same raucous, effervescent and gloriously sweaty vibes as it always."

Somerset County Gazette: Woodsies officially opened on Wednesday, the first day of the festival.

For 2024, an innovative addition has made its way to the energetic vicinity.

Unveiling the Tree Stage, an immersive outdoor venue, the festival promises a delve into the ambient and experimental, with an interesting combination of arts, folk, science and music.

The spokesperson highlighted some standout performances, including "Jon Hopkins – RITUAL – Exclusive Album Playback Listening Experience and a dive into the microscopic lives of fungi with natural scientist, Merlin Sheldrake."

After the big names conclude their sets on the main stage, the enchanting Tree Stage comes alive in darkness.

Performances will run until the late hours, specifically until 3am on Friday and Saturday and 2.30am on Sunday.

The wooded area truly comes alive during the twilight hours, transforming into "an enchanted fantasyland."

Speaking about the magical area, the spokesperson added: "Linger late into the night to explore the enchanted area that is The Woods.

"Dappled in sunlight during the day, the Woods become an enchanted fantasyland at night with an aerial walkway through the tree canopy."

The festival-goers are also invited to explore The Wood's Bar, where two house bands keep the ambience joyous and inviting.

Finally, festival-goers can enjoy nightly bonfires at the historic Tolpuddle Fire, a culturally significant symbol to the Eavis family and the greater history of the festival site.
