A GANG of youths hurled stones at a house in Basingstoke in a suspected racist attack.
At around 8pm on Tuesday, December 15, the gang of teenagers, aged between 13 and 14 years old, broke a window by throwing stones at a home in Abbey Road, Popley.
Police said the house belongs to an Asian family and that the attack was racially motivated.
PC Dan Carter, of the Popley Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “Incidents like this are unacceptable and it is detrimental to the hard work we are doing to promote community cohesion.”
