JUSTIN Rose finished joint fourth with Chris Kirk and Jason Day, in the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club after he shot a 69 (-1) on the final day.
The north Hampshire golfer finished on 273 (-7) for his four rounds, which was four shots behind winner Billy Horschel, while Rory McIIroy and Jim Furyk were joint second on 272 (-8).
Rose hit five birdies in his final round, but also took four bogeys as well.
It was the third round on the trot, he had hit five birdies for rounds of 66 twice after starting with a 72.
The north Hampshire golfer will next be in action at the Ryder Cup which starts on September 23 at Gleneagles.
