North Hampshire cyclist finishes second in cyclo-cross event
NORTH Hampshire Road Club’s Sarah Barber finished second in the latest round of the Wessex Cyclo-Cross League.
She led for long time in the event held in Oxford, until a mechanical failure robbed her of victory.
Club-mates Susan Parker and Tracy Cornell were fifth and eighth respectively in the same event.
In the men’s event, Atlanti-que’s Sam Allen was fourth and Pedal On rider Chris Minter fifth.
