Tottenham have confirmed the appointment of Paul Mitchell as their head of recruitment and analysis.
The 33-year-old left Saints this month in order to take up the position.
Mitchell had been head of recruitment at St Mary's for the past three years, before handing in his notice to reunite with the club's former manager, Mauricio Pochettino, who is in charge at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham confirmed Mitchell's arrival with a statement on their website.
Saints have been relaxed about his departure, with the staff and system he oversaw still in place.
The club's manager, Ronald Koeman, said last week: "Southampton is not depending on one person and we will bring in a good one to continue with our philosophy, and good luck to Paul in Tottenham."
