READING’S four game unbeaten away run in the Championship was ended with a 3-0 defeat at Huddersfield on Tuesday night.

Harry Bunn scored the opening goal after 10 minutes, with a powerful header after the Royals’ Hope Akpan and Oliver Norwood were denied.

After a break, Adam Federici spilled Jacob Butterfield’s tame shot and Nahki Wells put away the rebound.

Ishmael Miller completed the 3-0 victory for the Yorkshire side.

Reading manager Steve Clarke said: "It was a strange game which just slipped away from us for no real reason."

The Royals are next in action at home to Nottingham Forest (kick-off 3pm).
