BASINGSTOKE RFC were forced to concede their game at fellow London One South strugglers Twickenham on Saturday.
This was because of front row problems due to unavailability and injures to players.
The loss leaves ’Stoke routed to the bottom of the table and they are now 13 points away from safety with only three games remaining.
The first of these is their last home game of the league campaign against high flying Sutton and Epsom on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
The Surrey side warmed up for their trip to Down Grange with a superb 13-12 win at London One South league leaders Wimbledon.
