HARTLEY Wintney came from behind twice to hold high-flying Molesey to a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Fourth-placed Molesey took the lead early on and the hosts needed goalkeeper Craig Atkinson to make a string of fine saves to keep them in the game.
Ross Cook levelled before half-time, but the visitors were awarded a debatable penalty after the break, putting them 2-1 ahead.
However, Hartley did not give up, and when Sam Argent saw his effort from Tom Walsh’s through-ball saved, Jack Green was on hand to net the rebound and earn his side the point.
The result leaves Hartley eighth in the Combined Counties League Premier Division table ahead of a home game against Chertsey Town on Saturday.
