ALDERMASTON A started their Basingstoke and District Tennis Summer League Ladies Division One season in fine form with 8-0 wins against Mortimer A and their B team.
Karen McKenzie and Nicki Lines and Karen Bailey and Jill Vaughan made up their winning team.
Andrea Butcher teamed up with Steff Katlin and Clare Munns respectively to remain unbeaten for Beechdown A in their 6-2 win at Odiham and the draw against Oakley A. Goodworth Clatford A drew with Old Basing A.
In Division Two, RSF won 8-0 at Hampshire Court B and then drew with Goodworth Clatford B.
Another team to start with a win and draw are Overton. They won 5-3 at Andover B and then draw with Hampshire Court A. Andover B enjoyed a 8-0 win against Goodworth Clatford B.
In Division Three, Winchester B opened with a 8-0 win at Beechdown C. A maximum from Lynne Thomas and Gemma Godleman helped Old Basing B to a 7-1 win at Mortimer B.
The Mortimer team came back with a good 5-3 result at Beechdown B, with the Beechdown team then getting a draw at Whitchurch.
