Hampshire new boy Reece Topley took a career-best 4-50 as England went 2-0 up in their one-day international series against South Africa.
The 21 year-old left-armer bowled Hashim Amla in his second over with an inswinger that nipped away and took out the off-stump via the right-hander's back pad.
He finishing 1-20 from a four-over opening spell.
Topley trapped JP Duminy lbw with the first ball of his second spell (5-0-30-3) after returning to bowl the 42nd over, before having Rilee Rossouw caught behind off an inside edge at the end of his next over.
In his penultimate over he produced a back-of-the-hand slower ball which Kagiso Rabada top edged to Eoin Morgan at backward point.
Former Hampshire star Kyle Abbott took 3-58 for South Africa but Alex Hales (99) and Jos Buttler (48no) ensured a five-wicket England win with 22 balls remaining.
The third ODI is in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
