OVER 70 archers from more than 10 clubs will be taking part in the Old Basing Archer’s St George’s Day Shoot.
The event will run from 10am to 3pm at the Recreation Ground at Old Basing tomorrow.
The main round will be the St George, which will see three dozen arrows over 100 yards, three at 80 yards and a final three dozen at 60 yards. There will be a mix of traditional longbow, the Olympic recurve bows, compound bows and barebows including American flatbows.
Shooting will be a mixture of men adults both adults and juniors and it should be a good spectacle and anyone can come along and watch for free.
