JUSTIN Rose's chances of defending his Zurich Classic crown were ended on day two of the tournament at TPC Louisiana, when the Englishman missed the cut.
Rose carded two par rounds of 72, which saw him in the end miss out by two shots from playing on day three of the tournament, which is set to finish today due to bad weather.
Rose got off to a reasonable start in his opening round with a couple of birdies on the front nine, but two bogeys saw him finished on level par.
His second day again saw him get to the turn two under, but once again two bogeys on the back nine, saw card another 72.
British fans will get the chance to see Rose in action next month, when he plays in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in the last week in May.
