HOOK and Newnham Basics captain Matt Love is not about to panic despite his side's slow start to their Southern League Division One campaign.
Love said: "We have had a poor start, but it does not worry me as we have the players to put things right. So I am not about to panic and we are at home this week, so we would back ourselves to win."
The line-up will be shuffled again this weekend for the visit of Portsmouth, as Kieran Thomson and Kevin Poulter return, while Ben Thane, Glen Williams and Anik Divecha are unavailable.
Last weekend, Hook suffered their second defeat of the campaign, losing by nine wickets at Sarisbury Athletic.
The visitors were bowled out for 181 as Love (56) top scored and last pair Glen Williams (24) and Anik Devicha (28 not out) added 58.
An opening stand of 114 saw Sarisbury ease to victory with 29 overs to spare.
