BASINGSTOKE and North Hants IIIs continued their climb up the Hampshire County Division Two table with a seven wicket win at home to Amport.

The visitors were bowled out for 102, as Mandeep Sharma (3-3) and Nitin Mathew (3-22) did most of the damage.

An unbeaten 37 by opener Andy Giles steered the Bountymen to victory and third place in the table.

Old Basing also enjoyed another victory, as Matt Donaldson scored a half century in their winning score of 107-2, after they bowled out Bedhampton for 106.

Hook and Newnham Basics II lost by heartbreaking one run at St Cross III in County Division One.
