CYCLING: NORTH Hampshire Road Club held its 50 mile time trial championship on a course in Oxfordshire.
A blustery wind put any hopes of fast times out of the picture, so it was 50 miles of hard graft with Andre Posthuma (2 hours and 10 seconds) with the winning time with a clear gap over second placed Jonathon Hobby (2.03:43) and Barry Eeles (2.06:46).
The club’s other three riders were Rob Watson (2:09:28), Johnathon Elliot (2:21:57) and Michael Hutchinson (2:23:52).
