BASINGSTOKE Bison legend Tony Redmond along with two other members of Basingstoke first league winning side Anthony Page and Andy Pickles are the latest players to be confirmed for the special charity game to be played at the Basingstoke Arena between the Bison and Buffalo on Saturday April 30 (6.30pm).

The popular trio were all members of the 1992/93 Heineken Division One winning team and between them made over 1,000 league appearances over many years in Basingstoke.

Redmond, is the club’s all-time top scoring British player also became only the third player in the club's history to have his shirt number retired earlier this season.

Forward Page is also one of the top 10 British scoring Brits for the club and was captain of the Buffalo side which won the National Championships in 2003.

Defenceman Pickles was key member of a four man blue line unit of the Basingstoke’s league winning team.

The special charity game is being organised by Sandra Leary and proceeds from the game will go to to chemo ward, the Breast Care unit and chemogiftbags Tickets for what is sure to to be a great evening at the Basingstoke Arena are priced at £6 for adults and £4 for children and will be available on the door by cash only.
